Kim Bland, Adult Services Librarian
Kim coordinates all adult programs and services. She is responsible for providing reader’s advisory services, planning and/or presenting programs for the general adult population. Some of these programs have included presentations from the Kentucky Humanities Council Speakers Bureau, local historians, book discussion groups, and computer classes for older adults. Kim provides reference service and coordinates our volunteer programs. She has both a Bachelor’s Degree (1977) and Master’s Degree (1982) from Western Kentucky University. Prior to working at HCPL, Kim was an English instructor at WKU and ECC. Kim has worked for the library since 1991.
