Discovery Day Are you interested in learning more about the planets and solar system? If so, please come to the library on February 24 . Movies at the Library Join us on February 15 from 4:30-6:00 p.m. to watch the movie Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs created by Sony Pictures. The movie tells the story of a man who tries to end world hunger by creating a machine that changes water into food. The invention malfunctions, and soon food is raining from the skies! Soda and popcorn will be provided by the library. The movie is rated PG. Ages 9+. Registration required. |

Fresh Start Club! Children 17 and under may "read off" their fines anytime. (Parents, siblings, and friends can read to young children.) And, readers can earn credit for future late fees with this program too! For every 15 minutes you read, you can reduce your fines by $1.50 ($.10 a minute)...or "bank" monies for future use!

Tai Chi Easy meets Saturday mornings at the Hardin County Public Library. Evening Book Discussion Thursday, February 25 at 6:30 p.m. Join our discussion of I've Got a Home in Glory Land: A Lost Tale of the Underground Railroad by Karolyn Smardz Frost. In 1985, archeologists in downtown Toronto discovered what would become the most highly publicized dig in Canadian history: the remains of a house belonging to former slaves Thornton and Lucie Blackburn, who, as it turns out, were key figures in the Underground Railroad, from Louisville, KY.
