Only books receiving good reviews from Booklist, Library Journal, Publisher’s Weekly, and Kirkus Reviews are profiled. The Hotlist function gives the searcher lists of forthcoming titles with the publication date and ISBN.

This is a fairly helpful website. The “Bloodstained Bookshelf” contains forthcoming releases that can either be printed or downloaded as Palm document files. These lists can be either new hardcover or paperback releases. There is a handy list of author and other mystery events. The “Deadly Directory” allows searching by author’s name. When “The Mysterious Homepage” is accessed you go out into the wonderful world of mystery online.

Searching is by either author or character. All books by the authors are listed, including the forthcoming titles. This is very helpful if you like to read series in order. Click on the author index to the right and you can print “If you like…” lists, search by profession, location, time period, and other helpful categories. The Webmaster has included a list of resources she has used in compiling the information on this website.
