For teens who want to play multiplayer games together, or those who want to talk while playing separately. We will be using Discord's voice and video chat to talk to one another. The most popular choice of games during the last several sessions has been Minecraft, Overcooked, and Jackbox Party Pack 7. Some teens may also stream their game into the server if it is approved and moderated by the YA librarian.

Tax time is near!  Let’s look at the tax implications of assets in a trust compared to an estate going through the probate process. We’ll also discuss the question of “who pays the taxes on inherited property” and mention “step-up in basis” – the readjustment of the value of an appreciated asset for tax purposes upon inheritance.
